Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad - Udaipur Local

Pick up from Ahmedabad Airport @10:00 am. And proceed to Udaipur - Popularly known as the City of Lakes, serene Udaipur is the crowning jewel of royal Rajasthan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening visit Lake Pichola   Framed by majestic mountains, grand forts and magical palaces, Lake Pichola is a site dreams. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

Day 2: Udaipur Sightseeing - Chittorgarh

Today depart for Udaipur local sightseeing visit - City Palace - Rising from the bank of Lake Pichola, the imposing City Palace is a grand icon of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple - is one of the most famous temples in and around Udaipur. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in the form of Jagannath. Saheliyon Ki Bari - a majestic garden in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. It is also known as the Garden or the Courtyard of Maidens. After visit proceed to Chittorgarh - rich with stories of Rajputana bravery, pride, and passion. The local bardssing tales of courage and sacrifice, recounting stories that are fondly known to everyone. Overnight stay at Chittorgarh.

Day 3: Chittorgarh Sightseeing - Pushkar

Morning visit Chittorgarh Fort - which is perched atop a high hill. The fort itself has had a tumultuous past. Vijay Stambh - Known by the name of Victory Fort, this huge tower was constructed between 1442 and 1449 AD by Rana Kumbha. After sightseeing depart for Pushkar - literally translated means lotus flower, and is believed to be the seat of Lord Brahma. Thus, Pushkar is among the rare places to house a temple of Lord Brahma. Day 4: Pushkar Sightseeing - Jaipur

Visit Pushkar Brahma Temple - dates from the 14th century. The colorful structure is made of marble and stone. Pushkar Lake - considered one of the holiest lakes in India. Later depart for Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the Pink City. With broad avenues and spacious gardens, the city is steeped in history and culture. Here the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces, blushed pink, where once lived the maharajas. Visit Amer Fort & Palace- Built by Raja Man Singh, is a scenic marvel. It stands on top of an easily scalable mountain, which is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. The fort’s majestic appearance and its geographical advantages make it a special place to visit. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

Today visit City Palace - The Royal Palace was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II, who was the Rajput king of Amber. Some of the special features such as magnificent pillars, lattice or jali work, carved marble interiors and inlaid ornamentations make the palace beautiful in appearance and a treat to watch for the visitors. Jantar Mantar - an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. India has a total of five such observatories, the largest of which is in Jaipur. The Jantar Mantar was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II who from a very young age was fascinated by the movement of the celestial objects. Jaigarh Fort - Renowned for housing Jaiban, the world's largest cannon, the Jaigarh Fort, constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, is located about 15 km from the city. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur - Jodhpur

Check out from the hotel and proceed to Jodhpur - Located almost on the edge of the Thar Desert, the city of Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs and was the capital of the State of Marwar. The city is called the Blue City as it looks completely blue in color from an aerial view because of its blue walls and blue houses. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day 7: Jodhpur Sightseeing

Today visit Mehrangarh Fort - A renowned landmark of Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in the city. An ideal vantage point for the panoramic view of Jodhpur, one can trek to the top to see the city spread like a blue ocean at the foot of a hill. Umaid Bhavan Palace - The largest private residence in the world, the Umaid Bhawan Palace was designed by the renowned architecture, Henry Lanchester, and shows a blend of eastern and western architectural influences. The palace is situated on the high ground in the city. Its majestic 105 - foot high cupola is influenced by the Renaissance, while the towers draw inspiration from Rajput tradition. Jaswant Thada - mausoleum, which is more commonly known as the Taj Mahal of Mewar. Hidden amidst lush green trees and perched tenderly on the lakeside. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day 8: Jodhpur - Bikaner Sightseeing

Check out from the hotel and proceed to Bikaner - situated on an elevated ground surrounded by a 7 km long fortified wall with five entrance gates. A magnificent fort built between 1588 and 1593 dominates the city. On arrival visit Junagarh Fort - one of the few major forts in Rajasthan which is not built on a hilltop, and was built in the reign of Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner, who ruled from 1571 to 1611 AD. Lalgarh Palace Museum - The three-storey complex is coated in red sandstone quarried from the Thar Desert. The complex features magnificent pillars, elaborate fire-places, Italian colonnades and intricate lattice and filigree work. Overnight stay at Bikaner.

Day 9: Bikaner - Sam Desert (Jaisalmer)

Today check out from the and depart Sam Sand Dunes - A rare desert area which lies just in the edge of Jaisalmer Desert National Park and is also rated as top 10 must see tourist destinations in Rajasthan by Lonely Planet & Tripadvisor, Sam Sand Dunes are simply amazing. On arrival check in at camps, Evening enjoy Camel Ride in Sand Dunes, Followed by Traditional Dance & Entertainment Performance. Overnight stay at Campsite in Sam.

Day 10: Jaisalmer Sightseeing

Check out from camps and leave for Jaisalmer - Situated in the heart of the Thar Desert and close to the India-Pakistan border, Jaisalmer, founded in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, is carpeted with golden sand and almost every house is built with the yellow Jaisalmer stone thus, making it the ‘Golden City’. On arrival visit Jaisalmer Fort - one of the most renowned forts in the world exhibiting brilliant craftsmanship and aesthetic beauty steeped with rih past and heritage. Patwon-Ki-Haveli - located in the main city and was built by a famous trader named Guman Chand and his sons. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

Day 11: Jaisalmer - Kumbhalgarh

Early morning check out from the hotel and leave for Kumbhalgarh - This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its majestic monuments, extravagant palaces, an array of temples and flamboyant chattris. Other than sustaining a rich flora and fauna, the area also sustains a magnificent past made to come alive with monuments flattering the tourists around the city. The wall of Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second longest continuous wall in the world, after the Great Wall of China. Overnight Stay at Kumbhalgarh.

Day 12: Kumbhalgarh Sightseeing - Mt Abu Sightseeing

Today visit Kumbhalgarh Fort - sitting on a high mountain ridge seems like an impression from the past. Soaring above the surrounding rugged mountainscape, at 3,600 ft, the fort can been seen much before one arrives at its foot. With the second-longest wall in the world, about 38 km long. Later leave for Mt Abu - only hill station, Mount Abu, which rests 1,722 m above the sea level in the panoramic Aravalli range. On arrival visit Dilwara Jain temples - which were built between the 11th and the 13th century. The feature that makes it a must visit is the amazing and brilliant use of marble in the architecture . Nakki Lake - is an ancient and sacred lake. According to legend the lake was dug out by the Gods by simply using their nails to gain shelter from the Demon Banshkhali. Overnight stay at Mt Abu.

Day 13: Mt Abu - Ahmedabad Departure

Check out from the hotel and proceed to Ahmedabad. On arrival drop at Ahmedabad Airport. The tour concludes, leaving you with sweet memories of the trip with Heritage Explorer Tours.
