It stands on top of an easily scalable mountain, which is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. Today visit City Palace - The Royal Palace was built in the 18th century by the Maharaja Jai Singh II, who was the Rajput king of Amber. Some of the special features such as magnificent pillars, lattice or jali work, carved marble interiors and inlaid ornamentations make the palace beautiful in appearance and a treat to watch for the visitors. Jantar Mantar - an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. India has a total of five such observatories the largest of which is in Jaipur. The Jantar Mantar was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II who from a very young age was fascinated by the movement of the celestial objects. After having early breakfast, depart for The haunted Palace - Bhangarh, visit Bhangarh Fort - With a sign put up by the Archaeological Survey of India prohibiting visitors post-sundown, the 17th-century Bhangarh Fort stands tall, unbeaten and grim in Rajasthan’s Alwar district. Later that drive to Ranthambore. On arrival at Ranthambore, check-in at Hotel/Campsite.
