Arrive at Ahmedabad - Declared as India's first UNESCO World Heritage City, Ahmedabad or Amdavad is steeped in history and tradition. And proceed to Jamnagar - a jewel on the coast of the Gulf of Kutch. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Jamnagar.
Check out from hotel and proceed to Dwarka - Located at the western tip of the Saurashtra peninsula, Dwarka has great importance both as one of the four principal holy places (char dham), as well as one of the seven holy towns (sapta puris) to visit. On arrival visit Dwarkadheesh Temple - The main temple at Dwarka, which is also known as Jagat Mandir or the universal shrine. Originally believed to be built by Vajranabh, the great grandson of Lord Krishna, more than 2500 years ago, it is a glorious structure seeming to rise from the waters of the Arabian Sea. Later leave for Bet Dwarka - A small island off the coast of Dwarka and accessed via Okha is home to the namesake temple, and supposedly the residence of Lord Krishna when he arrived here. Enroute visit Nageshwar Mahadev Temple - Located on the route between Dwarka city and Bet Dwarka Island, the Nageshwar Shiva Temple is an important Lord Shiva Temple. A 25 m tall statue of a sitting Lord Shiva and a large garden with a pond are major attractions of this serene place. Return back to Dwarka. Overnight stay at Dwarka.
Today leave for Porbandar - a coastal city in the state of Gujarat. On arrival visit Sudama Temple - only temple in the country dedicated to Sudama, the childhood friend of Lord Krishna. After visit, leave for Somnath. On arrival visit Somnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Somnath Temple is one of the most important spiritual sites of the country. It also the first amoung the 12 jyotirlingas. Witness the Light and Sound Show (Subject to Operation). Overnight stay at Somnath.
Check out from hotel and proceed to Sasan Gir - one of India’s oldest sanctuaries and is synonymous with the majestic Asiatic Lion. The only habitat in India for these amazing creatures. On arrival take a Canter/Bus Safari at Devaliya Park (Gir Interpretation Zone) (Subject to availability). Later proceed to Junagadh - the soul of Saurashtra, This fortified city is situated at the foot of Mt Girnar. After lunch proceed to Mount Girnar by Ropeway - Up to Ambaji Temple (Subject to Operation). Evening return back Junagadh. Overnight stay at Junagadh.
After breakfast leave for Vadodara - Gujarat's third largest city, is situated on the banks of the river Vishwamistri and is famous as the cultural capital of Gujarat. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Vadodara.
Today visit Laxmivilas Palace - the magnificent residence of the royal family of Baroda was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890. After visit, proceed to Kevadia - which hosts The Statue of Unity - The 182-metre (600 feet approx.) statue is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of independent India. The colossal monument towers over River Narmada, a tribute to India ‘from the people of Gujarat’ to the leader who placed people’s welfare first. Visit the Statue of Unity. Over night stay at Kevadia or around.
Today we can visit various tourist attractions around Statue of Unity like Valley of Flowers – spread across 24 acres of land and is a haven for colourful flowering plants along the bank of river Narmada and Butterfly Garden – to explore different species of butterflies. Jungle Safari – to spot animals, reptiles and birds. After visit proceed to Ahmedabad on arrival visit Akshardham Temple - Built with 6,000 tonne of pink sandstone from Rajasthan, without any use of steel, the Akshardham Temple stands proudly over a 23-acre area in Gandhinagar. Evening witness Laser Show subject to availability. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drop at the Airport / Railway Station. The tour concludes, leaving you with sweet memories of the trip with Heritage Explorer.
